Timeshare showband focuses on providing the right music for the right time, thus adapting to the changing mood and overall atmosphere of the place as the evening goes on. This is where Chris comes in.
He is in charge of the stage presentation and makes the on-going choices of the songs as we play and decides when we play them.
Chris is also responsible for the stage equipment and overall sound of the band - so don't be surprised if he cruises round your table, guitar in hand, as he checks out the volume and balance of the music as we play.
Chris, like all the band members is an accomplished stage-player.
His is a specialist in the reproduction of familiar guitar solos which enriches the famous songs of artistes such as Queen, Cockney Rebel, Van Morrison , Beatles, Rod Stewart etc. etc. This input adds that extra polish needed to make our overall sound effective.
A very experienced guitarist, Chris has featured at the Guildford festival regularly for the last seven years with his hobby band "Fixer". His style of play injects the rock element into the band which appeals to the younger club members.
This again helps us to vary our styles. Chris and indeed all the band members are able to adapt to different styles and periods of music in the past - which is why we are called "TIMESHARE"
